Water treatment company Metito has installed a water treatment plant at the Al Maha desert resort in Dubai. The reverse osmosis plant will have a capacity of up to 80,000 litres a day.

The system will treat and conserve deep water resources on which the resort has been built. This will guarantee continuous fresh water for guests at the resort's 30 villas. Arabtech Company was the main contractor.

Metito provided the turnkey design, engineering, fabrication, supply, installation, commissioning, full operation and preventive maintenance.

The company operates its regional base in Sharjah and has a factory and laboratory in the Hamriyah Free Zone.
