Hunter Industries' irrigation products have been installed in several prominent sites throughout the Middle East. Hunter Industries, which is one of the world's leading manufacturers of irrigation equipment, says its gear-driven rotors, spray heads, valves and controllers are installed in prominent public areas and commercial centres throughout the Middle East.

''Represented exclusively by two professional distribution firms, Fitco Industries, in the UAE and MEAC in Saudi Arabia, Hunter products have gained wide spread acceptance because of their reliable operation, rugged construction and ease of installation and operation,'' a company spokesman says.

The company was founded nearly 20 years ago by industry pioneer and entrepreneur Edwin Hunter, who invented the plastic pop-up gear-driven sprinkler. Ed Hunter held more than 150 US patents for new products in irrigation.

Hunter's corporate headquarters are located in San Marcos, California, US. Additional manufacturing facilities are situated in Fresno, California and Cary, North Carolina.
