UAE-BASED Imdaad said there is a need to enhance quality standards to sustain the continued growth of the facilities management (FM) industry in the GCC, which the company said was worth $15 billion.

A leading provider of integrated facilities management solutions, Imdaad also pointed out the need to continue to invest in enhancing the competencies of facilities management professionals and to adopt sustainable technologies and best practices.

Imdaad was recently honoured with ‘Distinguished Partner’ award by Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) at a recent ceremony commemorating Jafza’s 25th anniversary.

The award recognised Imdaad’s excellence in delivering facilities management solutions, which have contributed to the continued success of Jafza as one of the fastest growing free zones in the world, the company said in a statement.

Imdaad has been the exclusive provider of FM solutions at Jafza, in a partnership that has benefited over 6,400 companies operating in the free zone, the statement added.

“Imdaad continues to develop genuinely sustainable and cost-efficient solutions that are vital to the long-term growth aspirations of high-profile clients such as Jafza,” said Jamal Abdulla Lootah, CEO of Imdaad.

“Moreover, we also invest heavily in human resource development and in acquiring key technology to address present and future requirements in the FM industry.

“We believe that this is the ideal strategy to help open more growth opportunities in the booming Gulf FM sector,” he added.
