Ideal Pre-cast Company (IPC) of Saudi Arabia will be promoting its diverse variety of precast products as well as its range of services when it takes part in Buildex next month.

The Dammam-based company specialises in designing, manufacturing, transporting, erecting and executing all types of precast concrete structures, utilising state-of-the-art engineering and production technology.  It is also engaged in producing and delivering readymix concrete anywhere in the Eastern Province.

Elaborating on IPC products, a spokesman for the company says: “Our products are strong, durable and of high quality; are easy to instal; have aesthetic value; and come in a wide range of finishes and architectural designs.”

The company’s portfolio of products includes:
• Precast elements for multi-storey buildings; beams, slabs, columns, and walls for car-parking structures;
• Hollowcore slabs in various dimensions to meet the requirements of various structural applications;
• Precast/pre-stressed double T slabs of up to 35 m span;
• Precast boundary walls in a variety of designs to suit all types of uses such as parks, factories, universities, commercial and residential buildings;
• Decorative precast cladding panels for all types of buildings;
• Turnkey precast projects for housing complexes, shopping malls, villas and multi-storey buildings;
• A variety of decorative precast elements for installation in streets, parks, beaches, playgrounds such as seats, tables, sheds, pollards, car stoppers, plantation boxes, and trash bins;
• Single or multi-cell precast concrete box culverts for highway and water drainage; and
• Various types of readymix concrete.

The multi-storey buildings produced by IPC are suitable for large commercial centres, recreational areas, warehouses and industrial as well as residential complexes, according to the spokesman. “Besides being economical due to their very low maintenance requirements, these system can be erected quickly and are available in a wide range of architectural designs,” he says.

The company offers boundary wall systems in different sizes, shapes and finishes. These consist of footing, columns, and panels. In some cases, columns are built in the panel, which are then slid into the footing directly, he explains.

IPC’s cladding elements are offered with a variety of exterior finishes. “These attractive and durable panels are economical due to their low maintenance; can be erected quickly and efficiently; are available in a wide range of finishes and architectural designs,” the spokesman adds.

IPC also produces many other standard products, such as walkways, parking shades, flower boxes, towers, water tanks, among other products.

IPC has two factories, one in Dammam Second Industrial City and the other in New Industrial Estate, north of Dhahran/Abqaiq Highway. The factories cover a total area of more than 230,000 sq m with more than 50,000 sq m of built-up area.

“Precast elements are produced in our factories within a covered and isolated environment by a highly-skilled manpower under the supervision of specialised engineering teams, to ensure the highest quality,” he says.

In addition to utilising the latest European precast manufacturing technology in its operations, IPC also owns a number of modern stationary and mobile concrete plants with a daily readymix concrete production capacity of 4,000 cu m, a fleet of concrete pumps with a reach of up to 56 m, transit mixers with 12 cu m capacity, mobile cranes of up to 90 tonnes, trucks and trailers for regular and heavy loads of up to 80 tonnes, compressors, welding machines, cutters, drills, jack hammers and all other tools necessary to execute turnkey projects and meet clients’ requirements.
