ANOTHER project being developed by Sorouh Real Estate is the Golf Gardens, a luxury residential community with 395 villas and townhouses located next to Abu Dhabi Golf Club. The project is just a 10-minute drive from Abu Dhabi International Airport and a 15-minute drive from the heart of thecity.
Being developed at a cost of Dh729 million ($198 million), the project is well under way and 99 villas have recently been handed over to the owners. Pivot Engineering and General Contracting is the contractor on the project.
Inspired by nature, Golf Gardens has been designed so its residents can enjoy the lush green environment, whether this is in their own private gardens or at the communal Central Lawns. Every home has access to the Central Lawns, which houses the Golf Gardens Club and expansive gardens.
Golf Gardens has a self-supporting infrastructure including convenience stores and a well-developed recreational element, with the club located in the heart of the development. The club will feature high-end restaurants, health and fitness centres, large swimming pools, tennis and squash courts, a boutique and retail zone as well as beautiful parks and gardens.
Golf Gardens has four styles of villas with swimming pools – Orchid, Lailak, Narjis and Gardenia – which range from three to six bedrooms with built-up areas of 5,400 to 13,800 sq ft. In addition, two styles of townhouses – Jouri and Khuzama – are also available. These offer four and three bedrooms respectively, with built-up areas ranging from 3,300 to 5,100 sq ft.
The Orchid villa – six-bedroom family houses – are set in plot areas of between 8,800 and 13,800 sq ft.
Each villa includes an enormous family room, impressive central staircase, formal dining and majlis, and a grand-sized alfresco terrace with a view of the beautiful garden and private swimming pool.
The sophisticated garden design includes a trellis, fountain and exterior lighting.
The Lailak, Gardenia and Narjis villas are designed to be a warm and welcoming living space. Their façades are embellished with a combination of wood, glass and stone, lending them their friendly charm. A large entrance leads to the family and guest rooms, four or five spacious bedrooms, rear gardens and an alfresco terrace.
The Jouri and Khuzama town homes are designed for smaller-sized families, and their stone façade lends the same charm as the villas.
