SowdenLight of Italy has unveiled its Shades collection of lamps that offer multiple configuration possibilities. This is thanks to the modularity of its fixtures that are made of silicone, a material that is washable and renowned for its light diffusion properties.

The collection, offered in a wide choice of light, bright colours, is a result of research that the studio of George Sowden, the English-born, Milan-based designer, carried out during 2020.

To date, from the 18 basic shapes and 20 colours, Sowden has presented 18 pendant lamps (available in four sizes), four table lamps, two floor lamps and colour variations of a battery-operated lamp suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

The illumination source is standard LED lightbulbs (except for the battery lamp, which uses a specific LED circuit).
