The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel Residence & Spa, Bahrain, one of the kingdom’s well recognised hotels, has recently completed an extensive multi-million-dollar renovation of the property.
The renovation, which included the modernisation of the lobby, reception area, rooms and hotel restaurants, took 12 months to complete and includes all 246 guest rooms and suites and the creation of a warm and inviting open floor reception area to welcome guests. The transformation incorporated a new blue and beige interior across the hotel with all guest rooms and suites being modernised with the addition of Apple TV, sensor lighting and bedside docking stations.
The new contemporary lobby space introduces floor-to-ceiling columns, glass panels embossed with arabesque patterns to create an elegant focal space. A new café called Royal Café has been added to the lobby space, offering afternoon teas and desserts. Olivos Brasserie has also been given a complete refurbishment with a new warm and alluring interior for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Kosta Kourotsidis, general manager of Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel Residence & Spa, says: “We are delighted to complete the comprehensive renovation of our hotel. We are celebrating a new stage in our hotel’s history with the launch of a modern yet elegant interior design to create the perfect environment for our new and existing guests. The hotel is well known for its Asian-inspired spa that includes separate men’s and women’s facilities and 15 treatment rooms for massages, facials and aroma baths.
