Reynaers Middle East has witnessed a surge in residential construction in the region, particularly in Saudi Arabia, with a growth trend towards premium quality and enhanced aesthetics.
In light of these trends in the market, the aluminium systems provider says it is well-positioned to capitalise on these developments, having already set up a brand – ‘Reynaers at Home’ – that specifically caters to the residential sector, offering ‘windows and doors crafted for premium homes’.
According to Ali Khalaf, managing director of Reynaers Middle East, the regional office for the Belgium-based Reynaers Aluminium, this business tagline quite aptly sums up the unique selling preposition (USP) offered by the company through this brand.
“As consumers become more discerning about the look and comfort of their homes, the premium quotient increases in their requirement. In line with this trend, Reynaers has a lot to offer to the quality-conscious homeowner – from quality doors and windows, to sliding systems and roof applications,” he says.
Khalaf explains Reynaers systems are used in various combinations and types in order to meet the exact needs of the homeowner, whether it involves merging the interiors with the exteriors, such as a living area opening into a huge sun-lit veranda, or choosing corner solutions to best utilise space.
“Another key trend we witness in the current business environment is that homeowners are getting more and more demanding regarding the aesthetics of their homes. Hence, most customers request for an ultra-sleek look with thin profiles and large window and door panes,” he adds.
The ‘Reynaers at Home’ unit also serves small- to medium-sized projects requiring top-end interiors using a variety of aluminium systems.
Since the launch of its fabrication facility in Saudi Arabia in 2014, Reynaers has witnessed consistent growth in the fast growing residential market, not only in the kingdom but also in the neighbouring countries.
“The residential sector has always formed a significant share of the company’s sales turnover. However, this sector is growing at a much faster pace than we anticipated,” Khalaf comments.
Some of Reynaers’ key projects in Saudi Arabia include the Blehed private compound, a bachelors accommodation project, Al Jomaih Villa, Al Jaber Villa, and Abdulla Muallem Villa. Projects undertaken in Bahrain include Al Bindaira café at Al A’ali Mall and Al Manal Hospital Building.
Reynaers Middle East is the Bahrain-based regional subsidiary of Reynaers Aluminium, a leading European specialist that manufactures and markets innovative and sustainable aluminium solutions for windows, doors, curtain-walls, sliding systems, sun-screening and conservatories.
