Sharjah-based Al Wasit Machinery (AWM), a leading supplier of heavy construction machinery and related spare parts, says it has won the trust of construction industry by providing the right equipment and support as required for the infrastructure development of the UAE, which in turn has helped it to clinch some of the major orders for construction machinery in Abu Dhabi, as in the rest of the emirates.

The company is now looking at expanding its horizons by opening new branches across the Middle East.
“Though we had been catering to the Abu Dhabi customers for a long time, our presence in the area has been strengthened since 2000 when we opened our branch office. Since then, the level of support has been stepped up to meet the increasing needs of the construction industry, supplying our wide range of equipment for the building construction, roads construction, quarry and mining, oilfield, transportation and materials handling industries,” says Mohammed Abdul Qader, managing director of Al Wasit Machinery.
The company has supplied heavy construction machinery such as excavators, and wheel loaders for several projects including the Al Reem Island, an exclusive residential, commercial and business development on a natural island off the coast of Abu Dhabi.

Other products in hot demand are Al Wasit’s tower and mobile cranes which are custom-built to strict specifications using top-quality components.
