Saudi Anfal Factory for Automated Doors, a leading Saudi-based manufacturer and supplier of doors and systems, has recently introduced the Akbar 89 fire-rated doors from the US-based Wayne Dalton which can be used for a large number of applications – be it warehouses or factories.
“The doors, which come with up to four hours of labelled fire rating, has been classified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and Factory Mutual (FM) listing,” says Fahad Al Nazha, marketing manager
Established in 1990, Saudi Anfal Factory has its head office, manufacturing plant and warehouse in Riyadh. It uses state-of-the-art motors from SKB of Malaysia, and Chamber Line and Liftmaster, both from the US, for the manufacture of its roll-up shutters, which are targeted at the commercial and project market.
Part of the Saudi Anfal Industrial and Trading Group, which claims to have the biggest store for automatic doors spare parts in the region, the company has over 15 years of experience in the industry and has over time set up 69 branches and more than 65 showrooms both within the kingdom, and elsewhere in the markets of Dubai, Sharjah, and Doha. The company now has plans to set up a new showroom in Abu Dhabi in the immediate future, says Al Nazha.
Apart from Wayne Dalton, the company represents some of the leading players in the doors business that include: Came (Italy), Somfy (France), Liftmaster-Challenger of the US, and SKB from Malaysia.
The company stocks a variety of other products from its leading principals, including: roll-up, fire-rated and insulated doors, rolling shutters, sectional overhead doors, gate barriers, gate automation systems (swing gate, sliding gate), tyre crushers, road blockers, hi-speed doors and window shutters which can be used in hospitals, malls, residential, warehouses, car parking areas, and factories. It also offers dock levellers designed for warehouses and ports.
“Our policy is to market genuine, top-quality products at reasonable prices, as per the international standards such as ASTM, ANSI , UL and NFPA” says Al Nazha. “We are also meeting the requirements of the Saudi building code.”
This aside, the company is also a leading manufacturer of continuous sheet roll-up doors, and galvanised steel and polycarbonate shutters in the kingdom.
“Much of the high-specification projects – for the government as well as the major clients – are undertaken by the company’s project department, which is manned by well-qualified engineers who can ensure that the project conforms to the prevalent international specifications and standards,” he adds.
The company is also in the process of achieving a quality assurance certification, which will further enhance the standing of the company, he adds.
“Saudi Anfal’s maintenance department also offers round-the-clock maintenance for projects in the region, thereby offering the best of service to our customers. Our 75-member installation team is highly productive and covers our entire market” Al Nazha concludes.
