German specialist ‘natural’ rock landscaping Himmelsbach, which has already been involved in a few challenging projects in Germany, is keenly eyeing prospects in the region with a view to starting up its activities in the Middle East and appointing an agent.
The company is currently scouting for opportunities in the fast-growing markets of the region.
Elaborating on the activities of the company, a spokesman says: “Since 1997, we have been very successful in the structural and civil engineering market. Our business focuses on the lifelike construction of rocks. Driven by an urge to ‘create living spaces with rocks’, the team of professionals at Himmelsbach offers a total construction package starting right from excavation and structural work right up to the design of rooms with rock landscaping.”
“Our artistic rock creations are fundamentally different from the commercially available construction types and in order to achieve the closest-possible replicas of rocks, we create moulds on real natural stone walls, which are later filled with concrete. This results in a realistic copy of a true rock landscape that can be hardly differentiated from the original.
“We offer impressions of the most diverse rock types with this process, allowing us to respond flexibly to the customer’s individual wishes.
Areas of application
“Himmelsbach’s rock walls are watertight and highly stressable and apart from living spaces, the company also helps create setting for wet areas such as saunas or steam rooms. In addition, the company’s rocks have been used as practice walls in rock climbing parks as these rocks can easily handle the weight of the climbers,” says the spokesman.
Himmelbach products can be used in an extensive range of applications including in fountains and sports facilities, or in creating a special ambiance for exhibition rooms or amusement parks.
In addition to the creating ‘natural’ rock landscapes, Himmelsbach also offers a choice of settings to beautify the ambiance.
“We complement our wide spectrum of services with the production of columns, reproduction of historic buildings and paintings by utilising a diverse variety of techniques,” he concludes.
