Ariostea high-tech marble and stone suit any type of environment or application.

Through constant research and development of innovative technologies, Ariostea – an Italian manufacturer of high-tech marble and stone - reproduces rare marbles and highly-prized stones at its factory.

“Our research laboratories have developed the utmost skill in recreating the chromatic richness, the full mass veining, and the numerous types of surfaces of natural stone materials,” says a spokesman for the company.
The company has made it possible to get the required finesses for its products by using completely natural raw materials and a production cycle that retraces the process of formation of rocks on the earth.
“The high pressing power and extremely high temperatures to which Ariostea high-tech marble and stone are subjected make these materials extremely compact and resistant to wear, abrasion, frost, and chemical agents.
“The technical and aesthetic characteristics of our high-tech marbles, which are uniform throughout the thickness, make it possible to apply the same procedures used on quarry materials, such as polishing and bright-polishing, which highlight the chromatic effects arid veining of the material,” says the spokesman.
Another feature of Ariostea high-tech marble and stone is the constant quality of the product, thanks to the electronic management of the production process. Innovative technical solutions make it possible to obtain random variations of the veining and chromatic effects, avoiding any type of repetitiveness. This means that each slab is different from the others, a unique piece, just as it happens in nature, he says.
Superior technical features along with the eternal beauty of natural marble and stone makes it possible to use Ariostea high-tech marble and stone for floors and walls of any type of environment and in any application of public and commercial building projects, residential building construction, in both interiors and exteriors, on ventilated walls and in raised floors, as demonstrated by the many installations in place throughout the world, he says.
Among the new high-tech marble produced by the firm are Cremo Delicato and Travertino Dorato.
“Our excellence at experimentation and recreating some of the rare stone types can be observed in our new high-tech marble Cremo Delicato,” he says. “Ariostea’s researchers have recreated the delicate and particular colour of beige that shades almost imperceptibly into green, with a soft play of veining and splendid effects of depth. With Cremo Delicato, Ariostea provides a wide consumer base with a refined material ideal for both floors and walls, giving light and elegance to residential, commercial, and public environments.”
“Travertino Dorato, with its regal appearance provided by the intense and exquisite golden yellow hue, is perfect as a complement to softer shades, but can also stand alone in large surface areas to create environments with a high impact effect,” says the spokesman.
In addition to their aesthetic qualities, the high-tech marbles and stones from the company’s production lines, also offer excellent technical features in terms of resistance and durability over time.
High-tech Cremo Delicato and Travertino Dorato are available with bright polished or pre-polished finish, in the 60 by 30, 40 by 40, and 30 by 30 cm sizes. The series also includes a rich offer of decorative elements, including rosettes with coordinated borders, boiserie for walls, and accessories such as steps, capitals, pencil strips, and shaped skirting tiles.
Under the range of high-tech stones, Ariostea has unveiled two new products: Ebano and Pietra del Reno. “Both these materials are fully in tune with the current trends in interior design, which gives precedence to neutral shades, both light and dark, and natural textures,” says the spokesman.
'The Ebano series reproduces a stone of uncertain origin and extremely limited availability, which is particularly interesting for the original and vaguely exotic shade of brown tending to grey, ideal as a background for the most essential contemporary furnishings.
Pietra del Reno, which means Stone of the Rhine, is inspired by a stone of German origin and is equally in tune with contemporary tastes, thanks to the unusual grey-beige colour that recalls the shades of sand, he adds
The chromatic qualities of Ebano and Pietra del Reno are enhanced by combining the two materials, as their colours are perfectly complementary.
Available in the 60 by 30, 30 by 30, 30 by 15, and 15 by 15 cm sizes, these materials have a satin-finished surface that makes them particularly suitable for interiors, both residential and commercial.
Through the years the company has enhanced the quality of its products. “The UNI mark of quality given to Ariostea materials, based on tests performed by the Centro Ceramico of Bologna, bears witness to the reliability of our materials and their conformity to the international standards,” he says.
In addition to the characteristics of long-life and resistance, Ariostea’s products score on the aspect of the material’s level of biocompatibility, that is, its impact on our health and well-being, explains the spokesman. Ariostea high-tech marble and stone do not release any harmful or toxic substances into the environment and do not absorb dust or other polluting agents, he says. The 1SO 9001 certification received by the company in late 1996 was updated in June 2002 to map the new principles of Vision 2000.
