An exhibition and conference on trenchless technology held in the region is slated to run in Dubai later this year.
Trenchless Middle East 2003 will feature trenchless technology, which enables developers to minimise disruption to the environment while carrying out work on gas, water, sewerage, electricity and cable utility services.
"The opportunities for suppliers and service providers are extensive and potential sales are there to be won," said exhibition director Richard West. "As organisations are recognising the benefits gained from non-disruptive methods, there is an increasing demand for information on the latest products and techniques'.
The event is endorsed by the International Society for Trenchless Technology (ISTT) and is supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), which recognises trenchless technology as an 'environmentally-sound technology' (EST).
Alongside the exhibition of equipment and services will be a conference programme, which will have technical papers on new techniques and case studies on trenchless projects carried out in the region and beyond.
Trenchless Middle East 2003, organised by UK-based No-Dig Conferences and Exhibitions, will run at the JW Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre from October 12 to 14.
No-Dig Conferences and Exhibitions has staged international No-Dig and Trenchless events in the UK, Far East and Middle East since launching the inaugural show in London back in 1985.
