EXPERTS from more than 25 countries across the world – including Algeria, Austria, Brasil, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Liechtenstein, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Turkey, the UAE, UK, and US – will share their views on technologies of the future at a leading aluminium conference in Italy.

A record 106 presentations will be featured at the seventh World Congress Aluminium Two Thousand Congress that will take place in Bologna from May 17 to 21, 2011.

The three-day congress – with three parallel sessions – will be followed by an extrusion workshop organised in collaboration with the Engineering Department of the University of Bologna.  Technical tours to elaborate on the latest technologies and applications of aluminium in different fields such as extrusion, finishing with anodising and coating, and automotive field, will be organised at the end of the conference, while a modern and automatic extrusion plant near Bologna will be highlighted during this tour.
