ALAA Al Jazeera Elevators of Bahrain will be at gulfBID this year anticipating that the event will lift its business levels even further.
The company, which supplies, installs and maintains elevators in Bahrain will be showcasing elevators for a diverse range of applications, according its managing director Ali Salman.
The firm returns to gulfBID following a successful participation in 2010. Salman says the response to the previous event was very good, adding that the company was able to boost its business levels through its participation. “It’s that response and our aim to promote our products to a wider audience and fast, which has encouraged us to exhibit this year as well,” he adds.
Alaa Al Jazeera Elevators has witnessed excellent business in the past year, having undertaken some good projects and is now focusing on boosting these levels. Among the projects where it has recently installed elevators is the Galali Mall, which is under construction in Galali, Bahrain.
The company was set up in January 2009 as a joint venture with Alaa Al Jazeera General Trading and Contracting Company of Kuwait.
Alaa Al Jazeera, established in Kuwait in 1994, designs and manufactures elevators and claims to be the only one of its kind in the Middle East to achieve ‘EC’ type examination certificate. The ISO9001:2000-certified company has branches in Oman and Saudi Arabia and a staff strength of 22 people.
The firm is the sole agent for branded elevator machines such as Nuova MGT from Italy and Autur from Spain.
Alaa Al Jazeera designs its elevators using a special designer software known as Lift designer 4.0. The cabins are fabricated in Kuwait, while the equipment comes from Italy.
“Our complete elevator package meets the British standards as certified by Bureau Veritas and European Standards (EN:81),” says Salman. “Our elevators feature a built-in emergency rescue system, in case of a power failure.”
The company offers traction elevators with the latest fully-automatic variable-voltage, variable-frequency (VVVF) technology for a smooth start and stop; traction elevators with two-speed technology, which are economic in price; elevators that do not require a separate room for the motor; and hydraulic passengers elevators, which enhance the aesthetics of buildings and can be installed in convenient locations.
In addition, it has hydraulic platform elevators for factories and warehouses; dumb waiters for transporting material to different levels of a building; and escalators and travelators for shopping complexes.
As part of its value-added services, the company provides a 10-year warranty on its elevator motors; free first-year service and maintenance; a competitively-priced annual maintenance contract; and round-the-clock emergency care.
Alaa Al Jazeera can be visited at Stand 1C58 and 1B59 at gulfBID.
