POLOPLAST, an international supplier of plastic pipe systems will be at The Big 5 Saudi in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, this month showcasing at  its innovative domestic waste disposal systems, hot and cold water piping systems and pipe ducting.

On show at the event (March 10 to 13) will be a variety of products from one of its best-known brands in above-ground drainage – Polo-Kal – which has become synonymous with quality in domestic waste disposal.

Products that will be displayed include Polo-Kal NG and Polo-Kal 3S noise-insulated domestic waste disposal systems; Polo-Kal NG AGT, a pipe system for exhaust gas technology; Polo-ASV, an extension-proof connection; Polo-Clip HS, a highly noise-insulated pipe fastening system; Polo-BSM, a fire protection sleeve; Polo-RDS evolution, a pipe duct system; Polo-Polymutan, Polo-Fit, Polo-Ecosan, and Polo-Ecosan³ hot and cold water piping systems.

The company will also be introducing its Polo-EHP control cleaning pipe as a new addition to its building solution range. “With this new cleaning pipe tailored to the Polo-Kal NG, Polo-Kal 3S and Polo-UDS systems – in the dimensions DN/OD 110 to DN/OD 200, Poloplast once again demonstrates its competence in innovative problem solutions,” says a spokesman for the company.

This access pipe for maintenance, inspection and cleaning represents a practical extension of the Polo-Kal NG and Polo-Kal 3S ranges, he adds.

Elaborating on the Polo-Fit hot and cold water piping system, the spokesman says this highly flexible five-layer pipe system impresses with tremendous capacity reserves due to its first-rate mechanical and thermal properties. “Alongside the novel connecting technology, Polo-Fit offers an innovative overall solution, which meets all the requirements placed upon modern hot and cold water piping systems,” he adds.

Set up more than 55 years, Poloplast has around 20 years of experience with polypropylene (PP) multi-layer technology and numerous intelligent product solutions. “This makes Poloplast an interesting partner for plastic pipe systems in the areas of building solutions, installation systems and civil engineering,” says the spokesman.

Today the company is a leading manufacturer of high grade, durable plastic pipe systems using multi-layer technology. Poloplast prioritises issues centred on modern building services engineering, such as living comfort, energy-efficient construction and drinking water. In civil engineering, the company acts as a partner for water supply, drainage and pipe ducting.

The company began gaining recognition for Polo-Kal, its quality domestic waste disposal programme in the early 1960s. The foundations were laid then for the successful product line Polo-Kal NG, which has been on the market since 1994. The innovation is a three-layer mineral-reinforced noise-insulating domestic waste disposal pipe system with its characteristic blue colouring.

The multilayer technology was first used in 1990 for the highly noise-insulating domestic waste disposal pipe system Polo-Kal 3S. “It is impossible to imagine the industry today without both of these multi-layer programmes: Polo-Kal NG and Polo-Kal 3S, and they continue to impress many satisfied product users. Over the past two decades, Poloplast has gained experience with this innovative technology and has continually improved and extended the product system,” says the spokesman.

Polo-Kal NG is not only used in noise-insulating domestic waste disposal but can now also be applied in controlled dwelling ventilation with heat recovery, in exhaust gas technology, in central vacuum cleaning systems and, as the most recent addition, in syphonic roof drainage systems.
