HAULOTTE offers a new choice of telescopic lifting models for the construction and manufacturing industries with its HTL3614 Pro and HTL3617 Pro, which can lift loads at a height of up to 14 m and 17 m respectively.

These two new machines complete the existing versatile range of telehandlers, which include the HTL40-14 and the HTL40-17.
These new machines – available under the name ‘Pro’ – have been optimised to increase profitability by using standard parts and offer the best performance by keeping the leading features of the current range.
“Placing its customer’s needs and innovation at the core of our company’s mission enables the world’s number three manufacturer of aerial work platforms, to develop new technologies for our product lines, which are safer to use and more innovative than before,” says a spokesman for Haulotte.
He continues: “The working zones of both the HTL3614 Pro and 3617 Pro have been optimised to ensure best performance, with a lifting capacity of up to 3.6 tonnes. Maximum versatility is assured with the full proportional hydraulic electronic control of the boom, while a chassis-levelling function as standard allows the machine to adapt to site conditions.
“To ensure travel with maximum power and precision, the standard hydrostatic transmission is coupled to a 93 hp Deutz engine. This transmission allows for responsive, precise handling in slow or fast mode, depending on the operator input.

“The controls of the movements of the boom and accessories are simultaneous and proportional with the exclusive use of ‘Flowsharing’ technology on our already popular range HTL 4014 and 4017. This technology allows the operator to demand multiple movements simultaneously and without compromise. The single ergonomic controller permits easy and comfortable use for the operator.”
Blocking of rear axle is installed as standard on both the 3614 Pro and 3617 Pro to ensure security, while the machines also benefit from new safety features, including auto cut-off of machine if it is placed in an unsafe condition.

Vertical mast
Meanwhile, Haulotte has also unveiled the Star6 Picking, a new vertical mast with a picking platform. Designed to meet the customers’ requirements working at heights of 6 m, the machine is particularly suited for operations in locations where it is critical to avoid fumes and noise.
This new vertical mast is based on the current Star6 offering new advantages with a platform for “picking” purposes. Besides, its robust and reliable steel design, the Star6 facilitates the operator to pick and drop parcels, small boxes, parts stored at height on shelves; while featuring a picking tray with an edge having a maximum load of 90 kg; a skirt on the platform for maximum safety to ensure that tools don’t fall; an adjustable tray height with four positions; ergonomic control box with a new joystick; and swing-style doors for an easier access to the platform.
The unit is very compact – with a 1.64-m height in stowed position – which allows passage under standard doors and/or lifts as well as 0.76 m width, the Star6 Picking is considered best suited for working in the most congested areas.
Thanks to hydraulic proportional controls, all the movements are precise and totally under the operator’s control. The tight turning radius allows maximum manoeuvrability and easier access to the most difficult working areas. Meanwhile, due to its electric drive, the Star6 features the latest technological advances and has long working cycles.
