CHANT Productions, a New Zealand-based manufacturer of door hardware, says the regional market at the moment is very challenging and has recently launched a number of new products and accessories including lever handles and new locks to meet current requirements.

“We are expecting renewed growth with the relaunch of our catalogue and the introduction of several new products,” says Graham Chant, company managing director. “All our products are well-designed and precisely-engineered and are meant for the higher end of the market.”
Chant Productions recently participated at The Big 5 show in Dubai for the third consecutive time. This year, the company was looking to increase market awareness of its products, optimistic of further growth in the region.
Chant Productions, which caters to the door hardware requirements of the domestic, commercial and marine sectors, has been supplying to the region for over a decade to projects in Dubai, Bahrain, Qatar and more recently in Abu Dhabi.
“Our first major project in the region was the Fairmont Hotel in Dubai. We have recently supplied hardware to the prestigious Armani hotel and apartments at Burj Dubai,” he says.
“Our main products are very niche and unique solutions required or requested by the architects. We have had to produce various products like special locks to fit into aluminium doors, sliding door locks and heavy-duty door hand pulls,” he adds.
Some of the major products from Chant include lever handles, pull handles, turn escutcheons, cylinder escutcheons and door knobs.
Door hardware from Chant is manufactured keeping innovation and practicality in mind. The two main product ranges from the company are the Chant and Mason lines, which include various types of door hardware such as hinges, flush pulls, fasteners, casements, handrails, push plates, door stops and many more. Chant Productions is also equipped to provide quality custom-made door fixtures and hardware such as pull handles, lever handles and cabinet knobs.
