Liquid Plastics Limited (LPL), a UK-based market leader in fluid applied roofing, has introduced a new brochure entitled 'High Performance Roof Refurbishment Solutions.'
"The literature features information on the company's range of liquid roofing systems, which are quickly and easily cold-applied to any roof substrates or designs to produce a completely seamless, water-
proof, long-lasting membrane," says Lisa Holmes of LPL.
She continues: "The range includes Decothane, advanced polyurethane-based, reinforced waterproofing systems which are guaranteed to last at least 25 years before first maintenance and which are independently certified by the British Board of Agrement (BBA). A key advantage of Decothane systems is that they actually use atmospheric moisture to trigger the curing process, which means they are capable of curing in damp conditions and even under ponded water. Therefore, application is not delayed by adverse weather conditions.
"Systems such as Decothane are designed to overcome the many problems associated with traditional materials, such as felt and asphalt, which are prone to UV (ultraviolet) and heat-induced degradation and, as a result, tend to embrittle and crack, thus allowing water penetration."
The brochure details users of Liquid Plastics' roofing systems, such as Marks & Spencer, BNFL, Rolls Royce, Volvo and the NEC, and includes a detachable card to request for more information on products or to contact LPL regarding international projects.
