
Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority (GEA) has announced the return of the Winter Wonderland zone to Riyadh Season 2022, with the region's largest skating rink and five new games.
Announcing this today (October 15), GEA Chairman Turki bin Abdul Mohsen Al Al Sheikh said it will help raise the level of visitors’ experiences, and give them 'special and beyond' imagination moments in one of the most distinctive recreational zones at Riyadh Season.
"The Winter Wonderland zone contains more than 80 games and a unique experience for all ages, in addition to more than 18 games for children, and a number of various entertainment options," he stated.
"As for the Fan Festival zone, which is experiencing its first season this year, it includes 8 large screens to display the World Cup matches, with a capacity of 20,000 spectators per match, and it also includes an international exhibition for Maradona player, and another exhibition for the English club Newcastle, in addition to international sports brands. and entertainment experiences with virtual World Cup technologies for all ages," explained Al Sheikh.
Among the entertainment options announced are weekly festivals that reflect the cultures of seven countries in Al-Suwaidi Park, which include roaming shows, various interactive experiences, and a variety of activities for families, individuals and children.
Riyadh Season 2022 is characterised by providing a mixture of exclusivity, suspense and modernity, and making the capital Riyadh a major hub, a preferred destination and a stimulating space that exceeds the local and international imagination, with what it provides to residents and visitors, as well as contributing to raising the level of the entertainment sector industry, and consolidating Saudi Arabia’s position as one of the most prominent entertainment destinations at the regional and global levels, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
