Global technology giant Alstom highlighted the latest mobility sector solutions and its unique practices and innovative sustainability plans at the two-day Middle East Rail Conference which concluded today (October 13) in Dubai.
 
The event was an ideal opportunity for Alstom and other industry leaders to engage, and for the French group to showcase its unique practices and innovative sustainability plans, said a statement from the company. 
 
Mama Sougoufara, the Managing Director for Mena and Turkey, delivered the keynote speech at the two-day event highlighting Alstom’s innovation. 
 
Sougoufara underlined the group's innovation agenda and the future outlook of the industry. He also highlighted the latest technologies in the mobility industry, with special focus on smart and green transport.
 
Also at the event, Eddy Thesee, VP (Group Product & Solutions) conducted a seminar on cybersecurity, where he highlighted the increase in cyber threat cases across all sectors globally and how Alstom’s solutions were protecting its assets, and its customer base efficiently.  
 
Andreas Frixen, Product Director (Green Rail Solution), led a panel discussion on the future of sustainable mobility, where he underlined the importance of green technology vis-à-vis climate change and carbon footprint reduction in the transport industry. 
 
Frixen also explained why hydrogen trains were at the heart of future sustainable mobility as an area pioneered by Alstom.-TradeArabia News Service
