Regal interiors from AlArabi Decoration and Construction Company.

Having given a touch of class to several projects in the kingdom and abroad, Jeddah-based interior decoration specialist AlArabi Decoration and Construction Company is currently working on a number of high-profile developments including prestigious hotels in Saudi Arabia.

“We have just started a fast-paced project for the five towers of Le Meridien Hotel project in Makkah, involving 90,000 sq m of gypsum board walls and decorative ceilings works,” says Saleh M Saleh, business consultant of the company. “Two of these towers are scheduled for completion before the start of Ramadan (October) while the remaining three towers need to be handed over before the Hajj season (December) this year.”
“We are also currently involved in numerous decoration contracts across Makkah, including the highly prestigious King Abdul Aziz Endowment project, where we are involved in the supply and installation of gypsum suspended ceiling works,” adds Saleh.
In Abu Dhabi, the company is engaged in the multimillion-dollar renovation works for the InterContinental Hotel in cooperation with Kocache Enterprises.
AlArabi has recently completed the decorative gypsum works at the Jeddah Hilton Royal Palace – which is considered to be the largest and most luxurious hotel in Saudi Arabia – as well as the Tanagra showrooms belonging to Arabian Luxury Lifts, in Jeddah and in Riyadh.
“We have also carried out the gypsum decorative works for the Royal Pavillon Hall of Abha Airport,” adds Saleh.
For over three decades, AlArabi has undertaken decorative gypsum works, special painting and various artistic decorations works for various projects and clientele across the Middle East, including royal palaces in Jeddah, Riyadh and Makkah, as well as hotels, airports, commercial complexes, shopping mails, and private villas. The company’s expertise covers the entire spectrum of decoration works from gypsum decorative ceilings and walls to artistic painting applications; and from furniture and special woodworks to marble mosaic works for pools and murals.
“Our work is distinguished by our meticulous craftsmanship, teamwork and a deep understanding of client requirements that guides our design process and gives us a competitive edge in the market. We are conversant with both traditional and modern designs and are well-renowned for our individually-styled interiors that are crafted to reflect our clients’ tastes, specifications and lifestyle,” he adds.
From its modest beginnings as a small establishment founded by Faisal K Adham in Jeddah in 1982, AlArabi Decoration and Construction has grown into one of the key companies in high-end interior and exterior decorating in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. It converted into a limited liability company in 2004 and has opened an office in Abu Dhabi this year. The company also has an office in Kuwait – Arabi International for Decoration – that started operation in March 2004 and continues to capture a growing market share of the decoration business every year.
The company is staffed by a large team of qualified professionals including 40 engineers, 300 carvers and 500 specialists. It has a 2,000 sq m workshop at its Jeddah headquarters and a 1,500 sq m workshop at its branch office in Riyadh.
