Al Rashed Cement: Established in the early 1970s, this unit of the group has become the leading trader in cement, both bulk and bag, in grey and white cement, in the Saudi cement industry. Today, it is one of the most recognisable names on the market with diversified and reliable sources of domestic and international suppliers.
Al Rashed Building Materials (BMD): As the founding business unit of the group, BMD is a pioneer in Saudi Arabia in supplying a wide range of products for the construction industry.
Al Rashed Built: With a major presence in industrial products and sanitary ware and over 25 years experience in the market, Al Rashed Built is continuously building upon its experience and market presence to develop new showrooms across the kingdom as well as extending its service and line of products offered.
Saudi Arabian Services Company (Sascom): A major supplier in machinery and spare parts for off-road vehicles and the truck marketplace, Sascom is a key distributor of genuine parts for Caterpillar, Mercedes and Iveco trucks. It is also a leading supplier of turbo pre-cleaner, Goodyear rubber products and conveyor belts, oilfeld parts, supplies and chemicals.
Al Rashed Steel Products Manufacturing Company: A well-established manufacturer of steel products in Saudi Arabia, this unit’s products cover a wide range of items including all grades of GI (galvanised iron) wire, steel bars, welded wire mesh, barbed and PVC coated wires, galvanised and PVC coated chain link fencing, black annealed wire, bailing wire as well as services for cutting and bending steel.
Al Rashed Fasteners and Engineering Fabrication Services: The unit is a major manufacturer and service provider to the industrial and oil sectors in Saudi Arabia and is noted for both the quality of its products and efficiency of its services. Moreover, the company is the largest manufacturer in the Middle East of commercial and high tensile fasteners including hexagonal bolts, nuts, studs, U and anchor bolts, shear studs and special fasteners. As part of fabrication services, the company specialises in the oilfeld drilling sector, providing such facilities as pipe stubbing, fabrication and machining of medium-sized precision components which include gears, shafts, sprockets, tools and large machine components and electro and hot dip galvanising.
Saudi Filters Industry Company: Established in 1988, the company produces a comprehensive range of oil and air filters under a technical licence from Purolator Products of the US. Today, the company has become the leading manufacturer in Saudi Arabia of such filters for many of the world’s cars and light trucks and, in addition, has the capability of manufacturing heavy-duty gas turbine and HVAC filters to the highest ASHRAE standard.
Insulation and Wrapping Materials Company (Insuwrap): Since it started production in 1985, Insuwrap has supplied more than 15 million sq m of PVC waterproofing membranes to the most prestigious projects in Saudi Arabia, Gulf States and Europe. Insuwrap PVC membranes meet the highest international standards (DIN, ASTM and SIA) and are known for durability and resistance to extreme weather conditions and high temperature fluctuations.
Saudi Vetonit Company (Saveto): The company has more than 15 years of experience in producing high quality, pre mixed architectural finishes at its factory in Riyadh and is today the leading manufacturer and supplier in Saudi Arabia of such products as mortars, pre mixed renders, tile set products, plasters and texture finishes.
Al Rashed Polystyrene Factory: Established in Dammam in 1992, the factory enjoys an excellent reputation in the marketplace for producing and marketing a comprehensive range of much-in demand polystyrene products for the agricultural and construction sectors including fruit and vegetable boxes for farmers and traders, insulation boards for use in the construction industry and ice boxes for retail sale.
Al Rashed Wood Products: The company brings together the extensive experience of Al Rashed Prefabricated Houses and Pallets Factory and the more recently-established Al Rashed Wood Products Factory. Following the integration of the two companies, Al Rashed Wood Products now produces on-site prefabricated buildings, mainly but not exclusively accommodation units.
Civil Works Company: Established in 1973, the company undertakes civil works projects in the fields of water distribution, sewerage and storm water. Integral to the company’s diversification programme has been the introduction of new technology including micro-tunneling techniques which permit hole-boring without excavation.
Al Rashed Transport Company: The company maintains a highly efficient fleet of some 600 heavy-duty vehicles, as well as over 500 attachments comprising of flatbed trailers, tankers, cement carriers (bulkers), dumpers and tippers.
Construction, Contracting and Development Group: This company undertakes major construction contracts both regionally and locally for a wide range of clients. Its scope of expertise extends to the construction of large housing complexes, hotels, entertainment facilities and shopping malls.
