Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), the world's largest aluminium smelter on one site, has signed up as a supporting partner for the inaugural 'Made in GCC 2026 Forum and Exhibition' being held this month (October 6 to 8) at Exhibition World Bahrain.

Held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the expo will bring together government and industry leaders to advance GCC industrial co-operation and integration.

A cornerstone of Bahrain’s economy, Alba is a trusted supplier of high-quality aluminium products to more than 290 customers worldwide.

Backed by over 50 years of operational excellence, responsible production and sustainable growth, the company produced more than 1.623 million tonnes of aluminium in 2025 and serves global markets through its sales offices in Europe and Asia, as well as its subsidiary in the US.

Made in GCC 2026 expo will bring together government leaders, manufacturers, innovators and industry stakeholders from across GCC to strengthen regional industrial co-operation, advance innovation and sustainable industrial development, and enhance the competitiveness and global reach of GCC-made products.

Alba said its participation underscores the GCC industrial sector’s growing strength and global competitiveness, and shows how cross-border collaboration can strengthen regional capabilities and boost the global profile of Gulf-made products.

The aluminium giant will be showcasing its comprehensive product portfolio and its approach to sustainability across the aluminium value chain.

A key highlight will be EternAl, Alba’s low-carbon aluminium product line, which includes solutions featuring recycled content as well as verified in-house carbon offsets, enabling customers to advance their sustainability objectives.
