GCP, a leading global provider of construction products and part of Saint-Gobain, has recently launched its new range of basement waterproofing products in the Middle East
Known as Preprufe 1.2 MP and 1.5 MP, the products have been tailored specifically for the challenges found in typical basement projects and promise to deliver durability, reliability, and performance for mid- to low-risk basement projects, says the company.
GCP says it pioneered the first-ever bonded, pre-applied waterproofing membrane, and has continued to refine this technology over the last 30 years. Renowned in the marketplace, the Preprufe waterproofing system products are designed to perform even in critical applications, including high-risk and complex structures, according to Peter Dey, Product Marketing Manager at GCP.
“Basement waterproofing isn’t just about protecting structures; it’s about safeguarding investments and ensuring the longevity of infrastructure. It’s the first line of defence against costly water damage, preserving the integrity of buildings and the safety of occupants and end users” says Dey. “With Preprufe 1.2 MP and 1.5 MP, we’re proud to extend our Preprufe offer, providing a tailored solution for typical basement projects where efficiency meets performance.”
These new products were unveiled at a recent customer event at Saint-Gobain’s knowledge centre in Abu Dhabi.
