Geberit ONE lay-on washbasin with iCon furniture ... a customised bathroom solution.

Geberit, a leading European provider of sanitary solutions, has unveiled its new Mix & Match concept, offering customers increased flexibility in designing their dream bathrooms. By combining elements from the company’s popular Geberit ONE, Acanto, and iCon series, homeowners can now create customised washplace solutions tailored to their individual preferences and space constraints, the company says.

The cornerstone of the Mix & Match concept is its modular approach. Washbasins, bathroom furniture, mirrors and accessories can be seamlessly combined across different series, allowing for a wide range of design and functional possibilities.

“The modular assortment is designed to allow bathroom furniture and washbasins of the same width from the Geberit ONE, Acanto and iCon bathroom series to be creatively combined.  Whether opting for a sleek, minimalist look or a classic, elegant style, homeowners can curate a washplace that truly reflects their personal style,” says Louise Pitt, Head of Marketing & Communication (Gulf Office), Geberit International Sales.

Washbasins

Geberit’s comprehensive washbasin collection encompasses lay-on, vanity and classic options, each available in a variety of shapes, sizes, and finishes. Lay-on washbasins, which are exclusive and design-oriented, are laid on top of a panel, offering a choice in bowl shapes or with rounded corners, as well as various drainage options.  The vanity basins are elegant and minimalistic and are integrated into the cabinet to create a seamless look alongside the bathroom furniture. Classic washbasins lie flush on the bathroom furniture, making them particularly easy to clean.

Geberit’s ONE lay-on basin is combined with iCon’s white matt two-drawer cabinet to create a different aesthetic.

All washbasins in the Geberit Mix & Match assortment are (optionally) available with the company’s advanced KeraTect glaze, renowned for its exceptional durability and effortless cleaning. Moreover, the innovative Geberit CleanDrain washbasin drain with comb insert, engineered to minimise splashback and reduce cleaning effort, is a standout feature in the ONE series.

The washbasins in the Geberit Mix & Match assortment are available with a space-saving washbasin drain, which has been designed so flat that there is no need for a trap cutout in the drawer of the vanity unit, creating additional space and storage capacity, says Pitt.

Furniture

The Mix & Match bathroom furniture is offered in three styles: push-to-open, with handles, and a uniform front with handle. The furniture is available with one or two drawers (except for the model with a uniform furniture front), and a variety of colours and finishes to suit different tastes and needs. To complement the washplace, Geberit provides a selection of tall cabinets (available in three versions), side cabinets, practical wall shelves, and washbasin and drawer accessories.

The concept also includes illuminated mirrors and mirror cabinets – incorporating cutting-edge lighting technology – that elevate both functionality and ambiance.  Customers can decide whether they want to operate the lighting digitally via the Geberit Home app, directly via the touch sensor switch on the mirror cabinet or with the bathroom light switch.

Geberit says the new Mix and Match concept offers a wider range of design options with numerous combinations possible.  Because the products are designed to be compatible with each other, plumbers can install them more efficiently, saving time and effort. The standardised components and assembly process make installation more predictable and less prone to errors.
