The Case wheel loaders ... safety on site.

NASS Commercial has launched a new range of Case wheel loaders on the Bahrain market, which have been designed to offer utmost safety on site, thereby reducing lost time injury (LTI) while increasing productivity.

The new Case 1021F loaders are part of Nass Commercial’s initiative to support Bahrain’s construction sector – which currently has a number of major developments under way – with the introduction of new equipment designed to offer economical, environmental and safety advantages for a wide range of project applications.

Nass Commercial, which is the trading arm of Nass Corporation, recently took delivery of two of the 1021F loaders.

“Whether it is a quarry or a construction site, it is important to have excellent visibility from all corners of the vehicle and this is what the 1021F ensures,” says Nass Commercial general manager Bashar Nass.

He continues: “The Case F Series wheel loaders offer better rear visibility and a panoramic view to the front and sides. For utmost safety in operations, the feature of a rear-view, wide-angle camera with an adjustable colour monitor reduces blind spots. This is ideal for increasing operator confidence and productivity, especially in jobs that require operating around other machines or workers.”

The 1021F wheel loaders allow the operator to fine-tune the engine and hydraulic output to a specific task. A rear-view camera provides live feed to a colour monitor in the cab, hence increasing visibility for the operator. The redesigned bucket profiles can fill a 27-tonne dump truck in three passes, allowing faster fill and shorter cycle times.

Other features include enhanced cab comfort, new hydro-mechanical transmission, extended-reach options and ease of serviceability.

The 1021F is powered by Tier 4 interim-compliant engine rated at 296 hp (221 kW), which uses a hydro-mechanical transmission that combines the advantages of hydrostatic drive with the durability of a mechanical transmission. Hydrostatic pumps operate at lower speeds for quick response, with the mechanical portion of the transmission taking over most of the work at higher travel speeds.

“We’ve introduced these Case wheel loaders with highly efficient high-horsepower engines and advanced emissions technology so the machines will respond faster, thereby enabling fuel conservation,” adds Nass.
