Villeroyyy & Boch (V&B) has expanded its successful Squaro, Subway and Futurion collections by offering new solutions aimed at enhancing flexibility in designing bathrooms.
On the back of the success of its Walk-In shower enclosures and shower trays that are installed flush with the floor, V&B now presents new sizes for the successful Squaro Super Flat and Subway shower trays, new matt Squaro Colorline colours for Squaro Super Flat and, in addition, new sizes for the Walk-In shower enclosures from the Squaro and Futurion ranges.
“With Squaro, V&B offers a high-quality wellness concept that guarantees the highest level of ergonomic comfort and creates a distinct aesthetic appearance in the bathroom,” says a spokesman for the company. “The focus lies not only on the comfortable baths but also on the super-flat shower trays and extravagant Walk-In shower enclosures. The shower enclosures and the shower trays have already been honoured for outstanding design.”
The flat Squaro shower trays come in eight different sizes – the five existing sizes 90 by 90 cm, 100 by 100 cm, 120 by 90 cm, 170 by 80 cm and 90 by 90 cm quarter-circle are now supplemented with three new rectangular shower trays in the sizes 140 by 90 cm, 160 by 90 cm and 180 by 90 cm.
“All Squaro shower trays are made of Quaryl, a material that facilitates the production of straight, precisely-formed corners and perfectly flush installations, he explains. “Quaryl shower trays are also characterised by a slip-resistant yet smooth surface, which is warm to the touch and highly durable. Thanks to the smooth pore- and joint-free surface, the shower area is particularly easy to clean. And the water outlet cover, which is integrated flush with the surface, ensures that the outlet is hardly visible. The outlet, therefore, meets the highest requirements and can also be used with rain showers.”
To ensure that the shower tray can be integrated harmoniously into the floor surface, V&B has developed four new matt Squaro Colorline colours that reflect the colours used for contemporary floor coverings — which are anthracite, grey, brown and cream. This opens up totally new and attractive design possibilities for the shower area and paves the way for an elegant and homogeneous bathroom design.
The shower tray and the water outlet come as a single integrated unit, thus facilitating easy and flush installation in floors with a thickness in excess of 100 mm. “The shower tray, one of the lowest currently available on the market, comes with all of the installation accessories that are required, including an integrated outlet valve with a flexible connecting hose, an additional moisture barrier, a sound-absorbing polystyrene support, a silicone adhesive and a removable trap, thus ensuring that the fitter will not need any additional complementary products,” he continues.
Squaro Walk-In enclosure is available for shower trays in the sizes 120 by 80/90 cm and 170 by 80 cm and also in the new sizes 140 by 90 cm, 160 by 90 cm and 180 by 90 cm. With regard to the new sizes, the Walk-In shower enclosure is only available as a fitness version with an integrated shower feature.
Thanks to the pivot doors of the Squaro Walk-In shower enclosure, which can swing open by 180 degrees, the user can define the boundaries of the shower area himself.
The central pedestal element is designed such that the water supply can be connected via the wall or the floor.
Subway
Meanwhile, Subway, which is positioned in the medium price segment and offers the deepest and widest product range, is the most successful innovation from V&B. With over 40 different sanitary elements and 15 different baths, the combination possibilities and design options for bathrooms of all sizes are very broad, says the spokesman. The design of all Subway products is characterised by straight lines and a wide rim.
The Subway shower trays are made of durable acrylic with full-body colouring and are, therefore, very easy to clean and highly hygienic, according to the spokesman. The five existing sizes 90 by 90 cm quarter-circle, 90 by 90 cm, 100 by 100 cm, 100 by 80 cm and 140 by 90 cm are now supplemented with three additional sizes in XXL format: 120 by 90 cm, 160 by 90 cm and 180 by 90 cm. The new super-flat shower trays can be installed flush with the floor and can be combined with the Walk-In shower enclosures from the Squaro and Futurion ranges.
Futurion
The Walk-In shower enclosures from the Futurion range with their light, transparent look, are ideal for modern and minimalist bathrooms, says the spokesman. The range has also been extended to include four new sizes that fit perfectly with the corresponding Subway and Squaro shower trays. Thanks to the adjustable crossbars, the fitting depth of the Walk-In shower enclosures is adjustable between a depth of 70 cm to 120 cm. Where installed without a shower tray, the depth of the shower can, therefore, be individually selected and when using a shower tray, the depth can be adjusted to the depth of the shower tray within the specified adjustment range.
New sizes have also been integrated into the Futurion range, namely 140 by 70 to 120 cm, 160 by 70 to 120 cm, 170 by 70 to 120 cm and 180 by 70 to 120 cm. These supplement the existing sizes of 120 by 80 cm, 120 by 90 cm and 150 by 100 cm, which are either offered as a set with the matching Futurion shower tray or – as is also the case with the new sizes – with adjustable crossbars for individual fitting depths. The profiles are available in a satin-look chrome or chrome finish.
The single-pane safety glass of the Walk-In shower enclosures from the Squaro and Futurion ranges has as standard a VilboClear finish, which is water-repellent surface finish.
Thanks to their minimalist appearance and the broad design scope, the new shower trays and Walk-In shower enclosures are ideal for those who want a clear and uniform design for their individual bathroom interiors, the spokesman concludes.
