Dubai-based Dorma Gulf launched a new comprehensive architectural hardware catalogue for door controls last month.

“The catalogue is an exhaustive source of information for architectural hardware, incorporating for the first time both European and American ranges of door controls and has been carefully compiled and planned with Dorma’s expertise, specifically for the Middle East region,” says a spokesman for the company.
“The catalogue fulfils the latest architectural demands of the construction industry and is pivotal in enhancing Dorma Gulf’s market share in the region,” said Omar Hamoud, regional director for the Door Controls division.
The launch at the Grand Habtoor Resort in Dubai Marina was attended by Dorma Gulf’s top partners including senior business executives and decision-makers, distributors and resellers in the industry. Awards were also presented to the company’s top sales performing partners for 2006/2007.
Knowing the market and understanding its needs and translating them into practical measures, Dorma applies a high level of system competence to meet these requirements. Its unparalleled range of products and services allows the company to offer everything one would expect from a competent solutions provider that involves the door, says the spokesman.
Dorma Gulf, which is part of the globally-active Dorma Group, is a market leader in door control products, glass fittings and systems as well as automatic doors. It is also a pioneer in movable wall or partition systems.
Dorma maintains major production plants in several European countries as well as in Singapore, Malaysia, China and North and South America. With an international workforce of around 6,100 employees, the group — which is headquartered in Ennepetal, Germany — operates on an international scale with 65 wholly-owned companies in 44 different countries.
