LG floorings can be used to create a variety of patterns.

Dubai-based Kemsol Limited is focusing its attention on the distribution and installation of building materials, keeping in mind the unprecedented construction sector boom in the UAE and the rest of the Gulf countries.

“We intend to market our products and services aggressively and be part of the phenomenal development which is taking place in this part of the world,” says a company spokesman.
Kemsol – the regional representative of Korean business conglomerate, the LG Group – is rapidly spreading its activities in the GCC with a commitment to supplying quality products and services at competitive prices.
Established in 2000, Kemsol has three divisions based under one roof at the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZ). The building materials division, which was started last year, is active in the distribution and installation of the LG brand of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) floorings, window and door profiles. The other two divisions distribute petrochemicals and digital ink electronic billboard of various sizes for indoor or outdoor applications.
“Despite being a relatively new addition to Kemsol’s diversified portfolio, the building materials division has established a prominent presence in the market,” says the spokesman.
At its 40,000 sq ft of warehousing facility, the company stocks all varieties of LG floorings and also provides its clients with installation services.
“LG Chem has emerged as one of the leading conglomerates in Korea with a turnover of $100 billion,” the spokesman comments. “With a focused and synergistic business portfolio, LG offers a wide range of products in different fields which are constantly upgraded.
“LG’s floorings have carved a niche for themselves and have grown into a well-accepted global brand.”
These flooring system are available in a wide range of colours, sizes and patterns for use in almost all segments including commercial, residential, sports complexes, hospitals, hotels, IT centres, schools, and entertainment centres.
LG also offers consumers the flexibility to select special mosaic designs to suit their fancy. These custom-made designs are produced using state-of-the-art mosaic computer cutting systems.
“LG’s residential and commercial floorings are very popular due to the various advantages they offer. Residential floorings, such as the Palace and Gallant, are well accepted in the market and the commercial flooring products – Decotiles and Safedeco – have a wide acceptance in Europe, US, Canada, South East Asia, India and other parts of the world.
“LG also has a number of speciality floorings including:

  • Static Pulse, which is a conductive and static dissipative system that can be used in operation theatres, radar control rooms, and IT centres; and
  • Rexcourt, which finds use in indoor stadiums, gymnasium, and health clubs.

“The PVC floorings are easy to lay and maintain and are remarkably durable, hence are ideal for various applications,” the spokesman elaborates.
In order to provide customers with complete indoor solutions, LG also offers PVC-based window and door profiles, which are versatile, sturdy and durable, and offer value for money. These doors and window profiles combines German and Korean technologies as LG produces them with technical assistance from West Germany’s Rehau Plastics.
To complete the spectrum of interior design solutions, LG has developed and is in the process of launching a full range of designer wall coverings, adds the spokesman.
