Oman-based Maysan Properties has awarded a major contract to Khimji Ramdas, a leading local business conglomerate, for the construction of the first phase of its mixed-use project, Maysan Square, located in Duqm.

The contract agreement for Phase One construction work was signed by Sadiq Jaffer Sulaiman, CEO of Maysan Properties, and Hritik Khimji, director of Khimji Ramdas.

A part of an integrated tourism complex (ITC) project, Maysan Square comprises 20 buildings to be constructed in Oman’s first lifestyle business district located within the Special Economic Zone of Duqm, stated the Omani developer.

A freehold property strategically located in the centre of Duqm,  Maysan Square boasts an office complex, residential apartments, a business hotel, entertainment venues and many other facilities that will be constructed in stages as per growing demand, it added.
