GE Healthcare, the healthcare business of General Electric Company, will showcase its advanced technologies in radiology at the first Arab Radiological Conference.

The event will be held from April 26 to 29 at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre at Dead Sea, Jordan.

GE Healthcare's platinum sponsorship also reiterates the company's support of healthcare initiatives in Jordan. GE Healthcare's new corporate office in Jordan will play an important role in the company's regional expansion plans, said an official spokesman.

The conference is organised by the Pan Arab Association of Radiological Societies, the Pan Arab Interventional Radiology Society, the Pan Arab NeuroRadiology Society, and the Jordanian Society of Radiology in association with Société Française de Radiologie.

Accredited to the Saudi Commission for Health Specialities for 30 continuing medical education (CME) hours, the event has the approval of the Arab radiological societies, and is the first large-scale forum of its kind held in the Middle East.

The Congress will also include a workshop by the Middle East Neuro Interventional Group.

'As the largest forum of radiological science in the region with more than 3,500 radiology specialists expected to participate, the Arab Radiology Congress serves as an ideal platform for GE Healthcare, a leader in diagnostic technologies and solutions, to showcase our extensive set of capabilities,' said general manager, GE Healthcare, MEACAT region, Isam Moursy.
