Porta Jeddah ... a key mixed-use project in Jeddah.

The vast number of construction projects worth a whopping $613 billion, fuelled by the rapid development of the infrastructure and residential sectors in Saudi Arabia’s Western Province, is generating an unprecedented demand for essential products across the entire spectrum of design, construction, fit-out, and related services, said a report ahead of the Jeddah Construct expo this year.

A key event powered by Big 5 Construct Saudi, the expo will run from September 29 to October 1 at Jeddah International Exhibition and Conference Centre offering companies an opportunity to capitalise on and expand their business in the new growth, said the organiser dmg events.

During the expo, the participants will get an opportunity to build their network as well as engage with key decision-makers involved in the 100+ mega and giga projects in the Western Province of Saudi Arabia, they stated.

According to dmg events, leading companies from across the globe will be showcasing their offerings to more than 8,000 high-profile visitors, including 150+ key government stakeholders.

The confirmed regional industry leaders at the expo include Madar, Zamil Industrial, Al Yamamah Steel, Al Watania, Unicoil, Qatar National Plastic Factory, Naz Industries, National Plastic Factory-Oman, Baz Steel, GBS, Scaffco and Hira Industries.

“Jeddah is a very important region for our sector. The developments and projects that have come up during the past 5 years allow us to sponsor Jeddah Construct,” stated Hosam Harbi Nassar, the Corporate Communications Manager at Zamil Industrial.

Naz Industries CEO Adel Mir said: “We will be in Jeddah Construct this year. At the expo, we will have an open-outdoor area to showcase our products. We are back in Saudi Arabia recently to establish our office and we invite you to come to Jeddah Construct and see you there.”
