Develon to showcase its latest at Intermat

Concept-X 2.0 DX225-CX autonomous crawler excavator ... cabless.

Develon, formerly Doosan Construction Equipment, is making its debut at Intermat Exhibition in Paris, France next month (April 24 to 27) where it intends to make a big impact with an industry-leading display of new state-of-the-art machine and digital technologies.

This includes the first demonstration of Develon’s much-heralded Concept-X 2.0 remotely controlled (autonomous) construction equipment solution in Europe, involving the stars of the show – the leading edge DD100-CX autonomous dozer and DX225-CX autonomous crawler excavator.

The new products showcased at Intermat range from compact equipment such as the DTL35 compact track loader, DD130-7 dozer and DX10Z-7, DX17Z-7, DX27Z-7 and DX85R-7 mini-excavators to the latest version of Develon’s DX530LC-7K 53-tonne crawler excavator.

A large area of the static display section of the Develon stand will be dedicated to the company’s new range of compact equipment.

Mini-Excavators

Develon’s new mini-excavators being shown at Intermat include the DX10Z-7 1.16-tonne, DX17Z-7 1.85-tonne, DX27Z-7 2.8-tonne and DX85R-7 8-tonne models. All the new models offer increased performance, optimum stability, additional versatility, enhanced operator comfort, controllability, durability, ease of maintenance and serviceability, according to a spokesman for Develon.

Another Develon mini-excavator on show at the premier exhibition of construction equipment, machinery and techniques is the DX100WR-7 10.7-tonne wheeled mini-excavator, which will be equipped with a tiltrotator in the Demonstration area on the stand.

Loaders

The company’s first compact track loader model, the new DTL35-7, will be in the limelight at the static display section.

“The DTL35-7 boasts impressive features that set it apart from its competitors, including a class-leading engine power of 85.3 kW (116 HP), making it capable of operating High Flow attachments with ease. With an auxiliary flow rate of 150 lpm and pressure of 280 bar, the DTL35-7 guarantees the highest performance and power on the market,” says the spokesman.

Its display of compact equipment will also include the DL80TL-7 compact wheel loader, part of a five-model range of 3.5- to 5-tonne wheel loaders, which together cover a wide range of applications, including construction, agriculture, earthmoving, waste/recycling, rental, builders’ merchants, landscaping, materials handling, warehousing and general industry.

Dozers

Visitors will also see Develon’s new DD130-7 dozer model for the first time at Intermat, offering a wide range of features that provide a productive fine-grading solution for residential and light commercial construction projects.

“One of the biggest differences between the DD130-7 and other dozer brands is the visibility the DD130-7 provides of the machine’s dozer blade. To facilitate this, the front engine compartment offers a narrower design to make it easier for operators to see their work,” the spokesman points out.

Heavy Machinery

The quarry version of the latest DX530LC-7K 53-tonne crawler excavator will be shown for the first time in the static display on the Develon stand. The DX530LC-7K has a number of new standard and optional features which are also available in the five smaller models – namely the DX300LC-7K, DX350LC-7K, DX380LC-7K, DX420LC-7K and DX490LC-7K crawler excavators – with operating weights from 31.5 to 50 tonnes.

“The main changes are in the cab. Already excelling in spaciousness and ergonomics, the new cab in these models takes operator comfort and ease of operation to the next level. As well as a new high-quality seat, the enhanced cab offers more features as standard than other machines on the market, ensuring super controllability and high precision in all applications,” the spokesman claims.

In the demonstration area of its stand, Develon will be presenting the company’s DA30-7 articulated dump truck (ADT). The DA30-7 ADT has a payload of 28 tonnes and is powered by the Scania Stage V compliant DC09 nine-litre diesel engine providing 276 kW (375 HP) of power.

Also on show will be Develon’s DL420CVT-7 wheel loader as part of the company’s award-winning DL-7 series. The wheel loader has a fuel-saving Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and offers a maximum bucket capacity of 4,5 m3.

“The DL420CVT-7 will be equipped with the unique ‘Transparent Bucket’ safety system, also being debuted at Intermat. The Transparent Bucket is the first safety system of its type to provide a solution to prevent the danger of blind spots in front of the buckets of wheel loaders,” the spokesman explains.
