In line with its focus on customer experience and sustainability, Saudi-based Juffali Commercial Vehicles (JCV) has joined hands with Konvekta, a European leader in air-conditioning technology, to offer professional truck drivers in the kingdom an efficient and economic way to keep cool during the scorching summer months.

Through this partnership, JCV will offer the Saudi market Konvekta’s mobile air-conditioning solutions for a wide range of buses, electric vehicles, rail vehicles and cooling systems for temperature-controlled transportation as well as for construction and agricultural machinery.

Konvekta’s carbon dioxide (CO2) heating and AC systems represent the best in technological competence and have already proven their efficiency and economy in use by major transport and manufacturing firms across Europe, according to JCV.

The German specialist developed the world’s first vehicle air-conditioning system operating as a heat pump with the eco-friendly refrigerant CO2 (R744). This system operates independently from the main vehicle engine and has been available as a series product since 2018. It is  now available in Saudi Arabia, having proven itself in use over millions of kilometres covered by truck operators.

JCV’s National Service Director Alexandru Cretu stated that there is growing awareness that keeping engines running is not efficient and economic. Konvekta’s solution addresses this challenge by running on a separate engine while keeping the cabin cool, ensuring the engine longevity, reducing fuel wastage and greenhouse gas emissions and enhancing driver comfort.

Cretu emphasised JCV’s commitment to providing the best products for the market they operate in, and added that the collaboration expands and enhances the company’s existing offerings for the commercial vehicle sector.
