Leading Dubai developer Emaar has announced the launch of its new walkway, The Viewing Point, at Dubai Creek Harbour.
Standing 11.65 m above the water level, it offers both residents and visitors a magnificent vista of the Dubai Creek and surrounding areas.
Emaar said the 70-m structure spans out over Dubai Creek, with a 26-m-long cantilever projecting out over the water giving unobstructed views across the creek towards Downtown Dubai and back inland between the Address Grand twin towers.
It is one of the key elements of the Dubai Creek Harbour masterplan, and has been designed to seamlessly blend in with its surroundings, stated the Dubai developer.
“Its positioning at the end of one of the area’s most populated pedestrian walkways will ensure significant footfall to one of the city’s most creative structures,” said a company spokesman.
The design and build of the bridge have been executed using painted steel to create the final effect of this one-of-a-kind architectural piece, he added.
