Alsayah Square, the first commercial and medical complex of its kind at Busaiteen in Bahrain, has announced that it has signed a leasing agreement with Americana Restaurants for the opening of key food and beverage (F&B) brands - Krispy Kreme and Pizza Hut.

The association with Americana Restaurants is a step to enhance the F&B offerings at the retail complex through their international fast food brands, according to CBRE, a leading and integrated real estate services company, which is managing the Alsayah Square.

Spread over a 100,000-sq-ft area, Alsayah Square is located across King Hamad University Hospital. The complex currently houses the recently opened Mega Mart, the largest supermarket in Busaiteen along with Eye Vision, McDonald’s, Baskin’ Robbins, Dunkin’, Khafayef, Hashem Restaurant and Cine Café.

Alsayah Square not only caters to the daily needs of residents living in the vicinity but also elevates and uplifts their lifestyle.

Designed to combine both entertainment and specialized medical units, Alsayah Square has become a unique shopping destination providing a range of carefully selected round-the-clock stores, including a supermarket, pharmacy, banking and telecom services including international restaurants and cafés with alfresco dining options skewed to accentuate the dining experience, said the statement from CBRE.

With the opening of these two outlets at Alsayah Square, the tie-up promises to, further, elevate the shopping and dining experience of visitors and residents of the Muharraq district, successfully integrating an atmosphere that will enable visitors to enjoy their every visit.

While the Pizza Hut outlet spans over an area of 160 sq m and comprises a seating capacity of 36 people, the doughnut giant, Krispy Kreme is spread over 80 sq m.

While Krispy Kreme has already opened its doors to customers, fit-outs at Pizza Hut have commenced and the outlet should be operational by fourth quarter this year, it stated.

According to CBRE, this partnership will provide the community with unique tastes and flavours through varied menus, promotions, and delivery aggregators.

Americana Group owns exclusive franchise rights for the management and operation of over 1,800 restaurants representing some of the world’s leading food & beverage outlets in 13 markets across the Middle East, North Africa, and CIS.

On the deal, a senior representative at Alsayah Square, said: "Our emphasis is on providing an eclectic fare at the leisure complex which will certainly spike up the foot traffic and also provide residents with numerous retail, and F&B options in the vicinity."

"We are extremely elated to have signed this deal to bring in Pizza Hut and Krispy Kreme to Alsayah Square and hope to continue receiving an overwhelmingly positive response. By virtue of its location, Alsayah Square provides visitors with easy accessibility and ample parking space. We believe in leasing our space to outlets that provide a great experience with a high level of service to keep visitors coming back," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
