Saudi-based Al Howaish Refrigeration Factory (HRCO) is planning to introduce ready-to-use assembled cold rooms on to the market.

Located in Jeddah's industrial area Phase II, HRCO is one of the leading manufacturers specialising in refrigeration, cold rooms, panelling work, cold room doors, industrial doors and stainless steel fabrication.

Describing his firm's new product, Abdul Rahman Jaber, vice president of HRCO says: "These cold rooms have pre-fabricated walls, corners and ceiling incorporating the new technology Camlock joints. The main advantage of this cold room is that it can be installed quickly and easily, saving a great deal of time and effort."

HRCO's factory is engaged in the supply, installation, repair and maintenance of stainless steel fabrication, kitchen equipment, preparation of cold rooms, stores, freezers, stainless steel doors, industrial doors, louvres, and cold rooms. Refrigerated vans are a speciality of the company.

"The company is now well-placed to expand and broaden the scope of its activities, given its recent innovations, the skills of its engineering division, the changes in market conditions as well as the number of jobs it has secured outside in the Kingdom," says Jaber.

"With the technical collaboration of internationally-known companies, we are able to compete in the market with international standard products.

"The company is capable of taking up and successfully completing contracts as it has a backup of a qualified team of technical engineers and qualified managers with wide experience in the business," he points out.

The company has undertaken a number of major projects including Albaik (Aquat Factory) - where it supplied and installed panels; Fakeeh Poultry - where it supplied and installed 43 cold rooms; and Saudi German Hospital - where it was responsible for the supply and installation of kitchen equipment, doors, cold rooms, frames, medical sinks, fire escape and industrial doors.
