Riyadh-based Aljomaih Equipment Company, the sole distributor for TCM machines in Saudi Arabia, has recently enhanced its range of innovative lifting machines with the FB-VII series, a user-oriented design for an emission-free electric forklift.

The new electric forklift has been launched as part of TCM’s ‘Global Stage 06’ three-year business initiative to further position itself as an international player by introducing innovative, larger machines in key markets across the world.
The new innovative design satisfies customer’s need for an electric forklift that can work longer hours continuously without causing operator fatigue and also comes with a compact body for efficient and comfortable manoeuvrability.
“TCM has taken notes of the requirement of very frequent boarding and to inspect proper handling of cargos by operators. To ease these operators’ constant mental and physical strew, TCM has launched the newly redesigned and emission-free FB VII series electric forklift trucks with eight models to meet ever-changing challenges,” says Abdullah S Al Ali, general manager of Aljomaih Equipment.
“Responding to customers’ needs for a smaller body and easy-to-operate vehicles, the new electric forklift will reduce operators’ stress by frequent turning within cramped worksites at warehouses and factories. In particular, as the widths of the new forklifts, which are 1.5 tonne and less, are shorter than the pallets, they can move vehicles more freely and safely within very narrow workspaces. This naturally contributes to better utilisation of total space at worksites for customers,” he adds.
As part of its strategy to launch innovative larger machines, TCM has also introduced the new heavy-duty FD430 forklift truck, designed for mega-container yards, steel mills and other heavy industries.
The operator-friendly forklift is a pioneering model mounted with a new engine in compliance with stringent emission controls, and is capable of much faster lifting speeds. With its new 243 kW inter-cooler 11,940 cc diesel engines, the forklift has the power to perform continuously under very harsh operating conditions. Lifting speeds have been improved by a remarkable 30 per cent over the previous model, which translates into enhanced productivity.
Aljomaih Equipment Company, which markets the entire range of TCM products, also represents Iveco, Case New Holland, Merlo and Nardi of Italy, Claas and MTU of Germany, Tacom of Japan, Nokka-Tume of Finland, Perkins of the UK, Arcusin of Spain, and the US-based Valmont Industries, which manufactures Valley irrigation systems.
For higher working heights and a longer working reach, Aljomaih markets the Merlo panoramic telescopic handlers with a range of models to choose from. The firm also sells an extensive product range comprising generator sets and engines, wheel loaders, dozers graders, concrete mixers, vibratory compactors and asphalt rollers, forklifts and telescopic handlers, marine container straddle carrier and agriculture equipment and systems to the Saudi market.
