The European Federation of Explosives Engineers (EFEE) is to hold its third, world conference in Brighton, UK, from September 13 to 16, next year.

In his invitation to explosives professionals to take part in the conference, Heinz Berger, EFEE president says: “It is important for all of us to gain new knowledge and to learn of innovations in technology and applications.”
The conference will provide delegates to have a first-hand insight into the professional development in the field of demolition, through the many presentations by respected speakers and through the huge opportunity for individuals to network. In parallel to the conference there will be an exhibition, where companies will display and explain their new products and systems.
The conference will focus on practical papers on several themes that deal with technical developments in blasting, as well as those related to health and safety aspects.
Members and non-members of EFEE are invited to submit abstracts for papers to be presented at the conference. The full specification on the conference is available at www.efee-web.org
Founded in 1988, the European Federation of Explosives Engineers (EFEE) provides a forum for professional users of industrial explosives both to exchange information at an international level and to promote involvement in European legislation.
