Top-quality washroom accessories made of high-grade stainless steel are now being marketed in the kingdom by Universal Building Materials Merchants Company (UBM), a leading player in Saudi Arabia’s building materials segment.

The products from Universal International (UI) Washroom Accessories are made from AISI 316 grade stainless steel and offer architects and interior designers a diverse choice of accessories to meet all their design needs.

“Bathrooms are wet and humid and that affects accessories over time and shortens their life mainly because of corrosion,” says a spokesman for UBM.

UI’s products are highly resistant to corrosion caused by environmental conditions and chemicals and have been launched following extensive research and development (R&D) and marketing research in addition to feedback from architects and interior designers, he says.

UI’s washroom accessories have a metal thickness of 1.5 mm which is higher than the standard offerings in the market. Also most of UI’s offerings are chrome-plated or coated.

The washroom accessories come with stainless steel anchor fastening and stainless steel screw mounting system to ensure reliability and durability with concealed fitting and mounting on walls. The products are available in polished and satin finishes.

Furthermore, UI has the ability to provide tailor-made products when required by clients.

Universal International is represented in Saudi Arabia by UBM, which offers clients total project solutions through an extensive products offering.

“Based on strategic investments in manufacturing plants, UI offers a range of products under its own brands, which are manufactured in strict compliance with international standards,” says the spokesman.

He adds these products are unique because all are made of 316 grade stainless steel and are supported by efficient pre- and post-sales support.

Commenting on UI, the spokesman says: “Universal International was established to add value to businesses through its smart management practices and solutions, offering a diverse portfolio of door and mechanical products, backed by a solid distribution network across the GCC.”

The company offers engineering services for all related products throughout the region.

UBM was founded in 1979 and today has branches throughout Saudi Arabia supplying a wide range of specialised building materials from stock as well as through direct imports for any specific requirement.

Its Architectural Division was formed in October 2015 to serve the growing market demand for top quality products including washroom accessories, façades, ceilings, window coverings, and sun control products.

“By promoting reputed architectural brands that complement its existing line of business, UBM has seized the opportunity to further consolidate its position as a comprehensive concept-to-delivery-and-beyond service brand,” concludes the spokesman.
