Grohe revamps faucet range

GROHE, a leading provider of premium bath faucets, showers and kitchen mixers, has revamped its popular Zedra faucet which now comes with improved functions and a rejuvenated look for today’s kitchen sinks.

“The single most important element on the New Zedra kitchen mixer is the smoothly integrated diverter button on the pull-out spray,” says a spokesperson for Grohe. “Its toggle design makes it particularly easy to switch between the mousseur and the spray modes – simply push either end of the switch to lock it into place. As it is no longer necessary to keep the button pressed while using the spray mode, you have both hands free to wash your lettuce or rinse your plates. For added convenience, switching between the two modes is also possible while the water is running.”

The toggle diverter is completely integrated into the pull-out spray and blends smoothly into its pared down design. With the pull-out unit sharing the tapered geometry of the faucet body, the result is a well-balanced look. Another Grohe innovation comes in the form of the SpeedClean surface of the spray face. It reliably prevents the spray from clogging up with lime – simply wipe across the nozzles to remove any deposits.

Aside from the chrome model, New Zedra is also available in stainless steel.

KOHLER, a global leader in kitchen and bath design and technology, has launched its newly upgraded Kohler Numi comfort height toilet in
the UAE.

The new Numi, which is a result of Kohler’s continued drive to innovate and improve the user experience for all its customers, has received several enhancements and additional user-friendly features including a sleek, interactive LCD (liquid crystal display) touch-screen interface, built-in personalised bidet functionality and deodoriser, innovative dual-flush technology with 0.6 and 1.28 gallons per flush, intuitive auto-open-and-close lid, and a heated seat and foot warmer.

In addition to the vast array of user options available on the Numi, several features have been added including a Bluetooth receiver for users to stream audio directly from a mobile device; ambient lighting options that allow users to choose to cycle through all seven colours, a colour specific to each day of the week or a static colour for the current use; an SD card for selection of a custom playlist or personalised welcome greeting; an accessible battery pack supporting up to 100 flushes ensuring that in the event of a power outage, Numi will continue to flush normally; and a service USB port located in the rear of toilet.

“The desire to innovate runs deep at Kohler and doesn’t end when a new product is on the market. This is especially true when it comes to a high-profile product like the iconic Numi toilet, which enjoyed a successful launch and global accolades unmatched in Kohler history,” comments Jerome Michel, managing director, Europe, Middle East and Africa Region, Kohler Brand.

“Consumer feedback allowed us to identify which upgrades were most important to users,” says Mohammed Nada, regional marketing manager, Kohler Middle East. “The enhancements will provide an enhanced user experience that is second to none in the market.”
