The pared-down design of the actuator plate harmonises with the different colours and materials

Swiss sanitary solutions provider Geberit says it has launched its new actuator plate, Sigma70, that boasts a highly precise mechanism and an attractive design as well as architectural colours and materials.

Replacing the previous Sigma70 model, the actuator plate will be available from leading sanitary suppliers across the Gulf region from April this year.

“The new Geberit Sigma70 actuator plate is characterised by its purist, frameless design,” says Louise Pitt, Marketing Manager of the Dubai-based Geberit International Sales office. “The floating character is now underlined by the slightly curved, convex design. This is made possible by the tried-and-tested mechanism of the two precisely coordinated buttons for the water-saving dual flush. Despite the two separate buttons, the surface of the plate appears homogeneous as if it were cast from a single mould.”

The new Sigma70 features a reliable mechanical flush actuation, which guarantees both simple, intuitive operation and straightforward installation, she adds.

The pared-down design harmonises with the different colours and materials. Five new designs complement the existing range. In addition to the glass (white, black, sand grey and lava) and brushed stainless steel models, the Sigma70 actuator plate is now also available in matt black and matt white metal, as well as red gold, black chrome and brass stainless steel.
