Azizi picks Build Wells International for key Dubai projects

Azizi Developments has signed up Build Wells International, an interior works company in the UAE, for its key waterfront-lifestyle destination, Riviera, located in MBR City, Dubai.

As per the deal, Build Wells will be handling the supply of sanitary ware and linear drains, for the first and second phases of Riviera as well as for Creek Views I, the UAE developer’s 100 per cent freehold project situated on the iconic Dubai Creek in Dubai Healthcare City.

Riviera is a stylish waterfront-lifestyle destination which, on completion, will boast 71 mid-rise buildings with 16,000 residences that are located amidst of all the business, leisure and retail hubs of the city.  Designed to introduce the French-Mediterranean lifestyle to Dubai, it features three districts: an extensive retail boulevard, a lagoon walk with artisan eateries and boutiques, and Les Jardins, a lush-green social space.

Creek Views I offers panoramic views of the iconic Dubai Creek and the picturesque Downtown Dubai skyline.

Galfar Engineering secures $104m Oman EPC contract

Galfar Engineering and Contracting has secured a RO40-million ($104 million) contract from Oman’s top petroleum investment company OQ for provision of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for one of its projects.

The EPC contract is for the Central 48-inch Rich and Lean Gas Pipeline Segregation Project at OQ’s concession area, said the company in its filing to the Muscat Securities Exchange.

The work will be completed within a 42-month schedule, including the maintenance period, it said, citing its CEO Dr Hamoud Rashid Al Tobi.

 

Imdaad wins three new FM deals in a single month

Imdaad, a Dubai-based group of companies that provides integrated, sustainable facilities management (FM) services, has announced that it has won three contracts in a single month.

Awarded to the company’s Facilities Management Services (FMS) division by UAE-based clients in the retail, sports, and real estate sectors, the contracts have a combined value of AED90 million, thus reflecting Imdaad’s robust performance despite the challenging market conditions. Imdaad points out that its comprehensive pandemic response plan and robust business continuity strategy helped it achieve consistent growth during this period.

Its FMS division renewed nearly all its existing contracts and registered higher profits in 2020 compared to the preceding year.

Penspen clinches $70m energy project contracts

Penspen, a leading global energy services company, has recorded a highly successful year to date in the Middle East and Africa with a strong performance forecast for the rest of the year.

The company’s project management consultancy unit has secured more than five new, long-term contracts worth $50 million from Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) and its onshore, offshore units.

Penspen’s Asset Integrity (AI) service line has netted over $10 million from four new, long-term contracts from BP ROO, Adnoc Offshore, Adnoc Gas Processing and Dubai Petroleum. These contracts cover a range of asset integrity services including pipeline integrity management, corrosion consultancy, risk-based inspection assessment and cathodic protection assessment.

The engineering project consultancy (EPC) projects being executed under Penspen’s PMC supervision will support the achievement of Adnoc’s 2030 integrated strategy goal, says Neale Carter, the Executive Vice President for the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific Regions at Penspen.

In addition, Penspen’s Engineering Service Line has brought in more than $10 million from 17 new medium-term contracts from Robt Stone, Galfar Emirates, Target Engineering, and Archirodon, among others.
