National Engineering Bureau (NEB) team celebrating the Dubai consultancy contract win.

National Engineering Bureau (NEB), a leading engineering group with a major presence in the UAE and Egypt, said it has been appointed as the local design and supervision consultant for the Samanea mixed-use development coming up in Dubai.

Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, NEB is a pioneer in delivering architectural, engineering, supervision and management solutions in the region.

The project, which will be coming up in Warsan region of Dubai, will feature a shopping mall, office and residential apartments in addition to office and hotel podiums and vast parking facilities, said the  company.

The project is being delivered for Samanea Group, a Singapore-based company, which is also planning to build a new mall in the emirate. The development is inclusive of a two-floor mall located at the interchange of E44 and E311, near Dubai International City.

It will be home to small, medium and big Chinese businesses seeking a foothold in the GCC market. It will also have 1,800 parking spaces.

The property will have a gross leasable area of 150,000 sq m and will become the Middle East’s major trade centre for home furnishing products and other consumer goods.
